Why Do I Need CD Pool?
CD Pool is a music curation service for DJs, by some estimates there are ten thousand new releases every week and no one has time to listen to everything. It is the job of our music experts, who are all DJs to bring our members the best in all genres every week.
Do I Have to Sign a Contract?
No, we operate on a strictly no obligation basis. You are free to cancel at any time by calling us on +44 (0) 20 8780 0612 or by emailing the admin department at email@example.com.
Do You Ship to North America?
Unfortunately, due to licensing restrictions we are unable to ship our collections to anyone outside of the UK, EU, and EFTA countries.
I’m a German DJ, Why Can’t I Download?
Unfortunately, the German record labels do not allow UK DJ services licensed by PPL (as CD Pool is) to supply German DJs with audio & video downloads. This is under review and we hope to reintroduce this service. We are still able to supply CDs & USBs to German DJs.
I Only DJ Once a Week, Can I Still Join?
Yes of course, our membership is open to all bona fide DJs.
Is the Music You Supply Completely Legal?
Yes! We work together with both the PPL and PRS for Music to ensure that all content is fully licensed.
Do I Need a Licence to DJ?
Every country has a different set of licensing laws. In the UK a licence for digital DJs has been introduced, you can find more information here. DJs in other countries will need to check with their local licensing authorities.
I’ve Made an Online Order, When Will My Music Arrive?
We ship all physical orders 1st class with Royal Mail as standard. If we receive your order before 4pm (GMT) we will strive to dispatch your music same day. Digital music orders are available via the members area immediately, new music is added on a weekly basis as a minimum.
What Payment Methods Do You Accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards and PayPal. Additionally, in the UK, we accept Direct Debit payments. BACs payments can also be made on request.
When Do You Take Payment For My Music?
If you are a long-term CD Pool member your payments will continue to be taken on the 20th of the month unless you have asked for the date to changed. Newer members will have their payments taken on the same day of the month that they initially joined. You can request a change of payment date by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
If I Stop DJing, Can I Sell My Music?
Unfortunately not. Digital Music cannot legally be sold by anyone wherever it was sourced from. CD Pool CDs and USBs cannot be sold on due to the nature of the licence we operate under.
Help! I Can’t Get into My Account.
This is usually solved by logging off and back into your account, emptying your browsers cache should also help. If that doesn’t work, you can email the office on email@example.com or call us during office hours on +44 (0) 20 8780 0612 and we’ll do what we can do get the music to you.
Can I Change the Music I Receive From You?
Yes, simply contact us and we can immediately make the changes you require.
What Quality of Digital Music do You Provide?
Digital files are supplied in MP3 and CD quality FLAC and WAV lossless formats. Simply decide when you first join or if you wish to change formats at any point simply contact the office and we will do the rest.
