1980 Recordings is the Ibiza, Barcelona & London based imprint, established in 2007 by the renowned and talented DJ and producer, Dan McKie.
Named after the year of his birth, Dan originally set the label up as an outlet for his own productions but with the amount of demos he was being sent, soon started releasing other people's music too!
1980 Recordings releases are supported by the likes of Marco Carola (Music On), Monki (Radio 1), Rob Da Bank (Sunday Best/R1), Louie Vega, Roger Sanchez, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Vanilla Ace and many more. The label just keeps on growing with more huge tracks lined up in the pipeline for the remainder of the year and into 2023.
Still only fifteen years young, 1980 Recordings continues to release everything disco, house and techno of all kinds.
